Elior renews lucrative Lloyd's building catering deal
Elior has seen off stiff competition to keep its lucrative catering and hospitality contract at the Lloyd's building in London for another five years.
The new deal is estimated by industry insiders to be worth in excess of £3m a year. It is expected to see Elior continue to deliver internal and external hospitality services and manage the café and food court restaurant.
Elior will also continue to operate One Under Lime, the wine bar that was previously operated by Corney and Barrow until early 2010. At the time of opening, it was anticipated that One Under Lime would turn over around £1m a year.
The caterer first started operating at the iconic building in 2001 under its business and industry brand, which at the time was called Avenance.
Chief executive Tim Hammond ditched the brand names in favour of the Elior name last year.
Elior has declined to comment.
