Elior UK wins £25m contract with Kingston University

Elior UK has secured a new five-year catering contract worth £25m with Kingston University.

The deal will see the foodservice company cater for more than 20,000 students and around 2,000 employees.

In partnership with the university, Elior will invest to improve facilities at three of the four campuses - Penrhyn Road, Kingston Hill and Knights Park.

The refurbishment will introduce a number of restaurant and café bars to create social hubs for students and staff and all four campuses will benefit from Elior's full concept range.

"We now look forward to building on that relationship further, with an even stronger offer; one that provides not just quality food, but quality experiences that enhance students' satisfaction and keep them coming back for more."

Bruce Armstrong, dean of students, added: "We're delighted to be continuing our strong relationship with Elior and are excited about seeing campuses across Kingston University transformed as a result."

Elior operates catering contracts across business & industry, health & care homes, defence, education, stadia and heritage sectors.
