Food From Britain appoints new US MD

Food from Britain (FFB) has announced the appointment of David Wilson as its new managing director for North America.

Wilson will formally take up the position from the current managing director Steve Dawson, on 1 April 2007.

Previously Wilson had been general manager of Premier Foods, Marlow Food's Quorn brand division, looking after the US business.

He said: "I will want to maintain continuity of the FFB North America service working with the strong team Steve has developed, and will also seek to bring deeper customers, marketing and supply chain contacts to exporters. I am tremendously excited to be taking on the challenge."

FFB is the Government and industry-funded market development consultancy for British food and drink companies wanting to build international business.
