Food Story partners with Maybourne Hotel Group
Kosher catering company Food Story has announced a new partnership with the Maybourne Hotel Group, owner of Claridge's, the Connaught and the Berkeley hotels in London.
Under the terms of the deal, Food Story's kosher catering services are recommended at all three hotels.
Food Story was founded by Justin Randall, Michael Paradise and Jonathan Hamme in 2015 after they saw a gap in the market for fine-dining kosher catering at events.

Matt Rickard, the company's managing director, told The Caterer: "The three hotels are popular venues with our clients for barmitzvahs and weddings. The larger events would be best suited at Claridge's but smaller, more intimate events at the Berkeley or the Connaught."
At a lunch held at Claridge's yesterday, Food Story executive chef David Swann created a four-course menu which included sole, sauce vierge and basil; lamb, blackened aubergine, tahini and lemon; Cornish sea bass, Israeli couscous, lemon purée and mint; and s'mores: banana, marshmallow, Graham cracker.

Speaking about the event, Rickard said: "We wanted to raise awareness that kosher dining isn't retro; it can be creative. When you look at our menus and what we do in kosher, we don't have to reinvent the wheel.
"We had fish and chips as a starter, which is an English classic, followed by lamb and aubergine, which is a Middle Eastern classic, and then the American dessert. I think in the kosher market you just have to do it well."
