Foodservice firm Wilson Vale wins £1.3m worth of contracts in two months

Foodservice firm Wilson Vale has won £1.3m worth of catering contracts in the past two months, including the College Court Conference Centre at the University of Leicester and the headquarters of West London design company Cath Kidston.

Worth £500,000 alone, the University of Leicester contract was the largest deal in the period, with a breakfast, lunch, dinner and hospitality service beginning 1 October. The Cath Kidston contract opened on 1 September.

Deals have also been struck with three independent schools, namely Egerton Rothesay School in Hertfordshire, Dixie Grammar School in Market Bosworth and Ashdell Preparatory School in Sheffield.

"All of these recent mobilisations have been made possible by the work ethic and reputation of our teams across the country. Growth is seen very much as an extension of the happy family."

Wilson Vale also recently revealed that it takes an encouraging approach to employees who choose to develop creative, craft-driven pursuits outside catering, most notably Ben Edmonds, who works as a skilled handmade knives craftsman alongside his Wilson Vale role as marketing manager.
