Fresh move by Charlton House

David Cavalier, food innovation director at contract caterer Charlton House, is making office food fresher.

The chef is having fresh fruit and vegetables delivered to City law firms within 24 hours of being harvested from Secretts Farm in Milford, Surrey, which is managed by Gregg Wallace, presenter of BBC's Masterchef.

"Having fresh produce in our kitchens within 24 hours of harvesting gives unparalleled freshness and flavour," said Cavalier. "Food expectations in the workplace are high, and the line between the food service industry and commercial restaurants is becoming a fine one indeed."
