Gather & Gather bags £20m of catering business in 2014
Gather & Gather, the catering brand of facilities management (FM) firm Mitie, picked up almost £20m of new catering deals in 2014.
These include the foodservice elements of new FM contracts such as a three-year contract with BBC Worldwide and extensions to existing FM deals, such as Lloyds Banking Group, as well as single service contracts such as the White Rose Business Park in Leeds.
The caterer's success has continued into 2015 following the announcement of a Mitie bundled services contract extension with savings and investment firm Standard Life.
Mitie rebranded its catering business as Gather & Gather in 2012 following a two-year programme of investment and focus on growth.
Allister Richards, managing director, commented: "We have consistently challenged the conventional way that corporate catering is delivered over the past three years.
