Genuine Dining Co to cater for European Banking Authority
The Genuine Dining Co has secured a four-year catering deal with the European Banking Authority (EBA) worth an estimated £700,000.
The contract will see the foodservice company supply catering services, goods and staff for meetings at the international organisation's headquarters on the 46th floor of One Canada Square in London's Canary Wharf.
As part of the deal, Genuine Dining Co will prepare and supply buffet lunches to visitors and staff, including EU delegates and dignitaries. It will also provide office refreshments such as tea, coffee and water.
In March this year the contract caterer signed its first international deal to provide catering, hospitality and events services for Dutch office location provider Spaces in Rotterdam.
It marked the second deal with Spaces following the firm's contract with the refurbished Mappin House on London's Oxford Street.
Genuine Dining Co also recently secured deals with real estate investment advisory company AshybyCapital to run coffee shops in properties in Birmingham and London.
The European Banking Authority is an independent EU regulatory agency for the European banking sector. It was established on 1 January 2011 as part of the European System of Financial Supervision and took over responsibilities of the Committee of European Banking Supervisors.
Its office in London has several meeting rooms and two breakfast areas named North and South.
The Genuine Dining Co is co-owned by the former chairman of PizzaExpress Luke Johnson.
