Genuine Dining Co wins £4.5m Shepperton Studios deal

The Genuine Dining Co has won a £4.5m catering contract at Shepperton Studios, part of Pinewood Group.

The three-year deal will see Genuine Dining Co cater for up to 5,000 people through a number of outlets and food offers, including staff restaurant the Genuine Kitchen and the Old House Café, serving a lunchtime food offer that includes pizza.

In addition, the company's new events brand Genuine Events will be responsible for weddings, events and parties in the Orangery.

Commenting on the new business, Chris Mitchell, managing director of the Genuine Dining Co, said: "We will be doing a lot of stage catering for films and TV as well as catering for our wedding and party business.

"This is an amazing contract win for the Genuine Dining Co. It incorporates all of our skills and gives us a platform to launch Genuine Events. We are truly excited to be working with Pinewood Group in our fantastic new venue."

The contract was previously managed by Applause Catering.
