Graysons secures £5m deal with Christ Church Spitalfields
Catering firm Graysons has secured a new three-year deal with Grade-I listed building Christ Church Spitalfields which is expected to generate more than £5m in total turnover.
The contract will see Graysons manage the catering and venue services at Christ Church Spitalfields and Hanbury Hall, along with the three commercial café units.
It will be operated under the Graysons Venues brand alongside their other sites including the Royal Overseas League, Rooms on Regent's Park and the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Christ Church Spitalfields is nearing the completion of a refurbishment of both the crypt and Hanbury Hall and Graysons will be investing in the catering equipment to help create a modern brasserie style café in the crypt as well as two cafés on Hanbury Street and within the Church gardens on Commercial Street.
Simona Oproiu, business development director at Graysons said: "Graysons' experience in venue management and our ability to understand and operate sympathetically to the needs of the client organisation were key to the contract award.
"Our Graysons Venues brand is gathering pace in the market and has been built on fantastic proof source where we demonstrate flexibility and understand and deliver innovative and unique food offers. We are delighted to have been awarded this contract in the face of stiff competition and look forward to working with such fantastic clients and being a part of the vibrant Spitalfields food scene."
