HCM Group names John Ling sales director for Midlands/North
Foodservice company the HCM Group has announced John Ling as sales director for the Midlands and the North, to help drive new business.
Ling brings 30 years' experience within contract catering and will help to build new client relationships on the Catermasters and Host brands.
He joins from Sodexo, where he worked in the corporate sector.
Commenting on his new role, Ling said: "I'm looking forward to using my leadership skills, sound commercial experience, drive and enthusiasm to help energise future sales."
UK sales director for HCM Group, Andrew Scott, added: "We're delighted to be welcoming someone of John's calibre to the team. His significant experience will be of great benefit to our business, our team, and of course our clients."
The HCM Group was formed in August 2014 after the merging of Host Management and Catermasters. It has contracts across the UK and Ireland including within the business and industry, leisure, independent and state schools, higher education, and healthcare sectors; and provides services such as cafés, restaurants, hospitality, and vending.
Its most recent deals have included £6.2m-worth of new contracts and £7.8m of retained business, including at the RSPCA and University of Law.
