Hearts FC signs Saltire Hospitality
Heart of Midlothian Football Club has signed Edinburgh-based Saltire Hospitality to provide hospitality and catering as part of a seven-figure deal.
The contract, which began last week, has seen Saltire employ the club's existing hospitality sales team and it has said it will take on additional catering staff.
Saltire will handle match day and non-match day corporate hospitality, the retail kiosks and other events throughout the year, including weddings and conferences.
Heart of Midlothian is the latest in a growing portfolio of high profile clients that Saltire Hospitality has built up since the business launched in 2000.
David Peters, managing director of Saltire Hospitality, said: "This is the first time we have had a full-time sales team based in-house for a client, making it a significant opportunity to develop and expand our services.
"Taking on responsibility for sales has created a mutually beneficial partnership to encourage more business for both parties."
Heart of Midlothian FC director Vitalijus Vasiliauskas added: "Our supporters will soon be able to enjoy the benefits of this mouth-watering link-up not only on match days but throughout the season as well at the various events staged at the stadium.
"It is also important to note that the agreement will benefit the local economy by helping secure a number of local jobs."
