Heathcotes Outside wins Manchester's Velodrome contract
Event caterer Heathcotes Outside has won the contract to provide hospitality at two British Cycling events at Manchester's Velodrome, home of the national cycling centre.
Under the terms of the deal, Heathcotes Outside staff will provide all VIP hospitality at the Manchester leg of the UCI Track World Cup Classics, taking place between 30 October and 1 November.
This will include formal dining for up to 100 VIP guests and a series of VIP drinks and canapé receptions.
The Heathcotes Outside team has also been tasked with delivering all VIP hospitality at the UCI Para-cycling Track World Championships between 6 and 8 November.
Gary Bates, managing director at Heathcotes Outside said: "These two events are among the most important in the cycling calendar and to be trusted with the delivery of the food to the VIP guests is a cause of great pride for us.
"The venue is a huge asset to the city and events such as these are among those special occasions which make Manchester different. We are very much looking forward to playing our part."
Heathcote's Outside was created in 1996 by Michelin-starred chef/restaurateur Paul Heathcote. In 2006, the company was bought by venture capital firm Sovereign Capital, which then merged it with stadia caterer Lindley Catering (now Lindley Group). Paul Heathcote became an executive director at Lindley as part of the deal.
