Horseradish secures contract wins at two summer events

Horseradish Catering has secured contracts at two events this summer in the North West.

It will deliver hospitality services at the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Flower Show Tatton Park later this month and Southport Flower Show in August.

The event caterer has been appointed to deliver all show hospitality for sponsors and VIP guests in attendance in 2016.

Over the five-day event at Tatton Park (20-24 July) Horseradish will provide bespoke menus and will also cater for 200 covers per day at the on-site restaurant.

It will showcase produce from the region including slow braised Vale of Clwyd beef, Goosnargh chicken and afternoon tea.

The Southport Flower Show, which runs from 18 to 21 August, will see Horseradish deliver all on-site catering including public, corporate, member and exhibitor catering across the Victoria Park site.

The calendar event not only attracts day visitors but also has an active evening entertainment programme that features a gala dinner on the eve of the show opening, as well as a jazz night. During the daytime, Horseradish will also cater for a civic lunch and ladies' lunch in addition to operating a public restaurant.

Angus Wilson, head of catering for Horseradish said: "We are delighted to add the Royal Horticultural Society Flower Show Tatton Park and Southport Flower Show to our ever-growing list of contract wins.

"Not only are we able to offer first-class catering and service to clients but our appeal also lies in the opportunity to tie up and promote client events to the 220,000 Chester Race Company customers within a season."
Horseradish prides itself on working with local suppliers and using staff recruited and trained from the North West of England.

Each event is expected to attract more than 80,000 visitors.

Established in 2009 to cater for the 220,000 people visiting Chester Racecourse every year, Horseradish has since secured several contracts with a variety of clients.

These include Speke Hall in Liverpool, Liverpool Cathedral, Chester Town Hall, St George's Hall in Liverpool and the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power, held annually at Cholmondeley Castle in Cheshire.
