Hospitality Action charity to host its first polo day
Industry charity Hospitality Action (HA) is hosting its first polo day, which will take place at Beaufort Polo Club in Tetbury, Gloucestershire, on 12 September.
The event, which will offer guests the chance to watch the Sidebottom Cup, will include a Champagne reception, three-course lunch and afternoon tea following the match.
Richard Ball, Hospitality Action trustee and managing director of Calcot Manor, said: "You don't have to be familiar with the rules of polo to enjoy the breathtaking speed and finesse at which it is played. Everyone who attends will be swept up in the game's excitement whilst simultaneously helping to raise funds for those suffering within the hospitality industry."
The polo day will commence at 12pm and tickets are priced at £90 per person or £850 for a table of ten. To book a place contact Astrid Wears-Taylor on 020 3004 5503 or email astrid@hospitalityaction.org.uk.
All proceeds will go to HA which offers a range of services to past and present employees within the hospitality industry including financial aid and support and a family member's scheme for retired industry members.
