In from the cold – An opportunity to grasp

It's cold on the outside just now, but keep your customers warm and brighten up your January.

Here are a couple recipes ideal for this icy blast :

All Canadian Coffee

Ingredients
45ml (3tbsp) double cream
45ml (3tbsp) maple syrup
200ml (7fl. oz) boiling water
15ml (1 tbsp) Nescafé®Alta Rica
Splash Canadian whisky (optional)
Chocolate shavings to decorate

Method
Whip together the double cream and 15ml (1tbsp) maple syrup. Pour the boiling water over the Nescafé®Alta Rica. Add a splash of Canadian whiskey if desired and the remaining maple syrup and stir. Top with the maple cream and chocolate shavings. Alternatively top with the whipped cream and swirl over the maple syrup.

Serves 1
Preparation time: 3 minutes

Velvety Smooth Aero® Brandy Choc Toddy

Ingredients
1 heaped scoop Aero® hot chocolate ADD MILK (or Instant)
200ml hot milk (or water)
1tbsp brandy
Dark Chocolate shavings
Chocolate Florentines or petit fours (optional)

Method

  1. Make the Aero® hot chocolate with hot milk (or water) in a large cup or mug according to the tin instructions.
  2. Stir in the brandy
  3. Top with a few shavings of dark chocolate and serve immediately with a chocolate Florentine on the side.
