Is your Wi-Fi losing you guests?

Acentic, the global hospitality technology company at the forefront of in-room entertainment, Wi-Fi and HSIA technology, has introduced a next generation solution for hoteliers faced with Wi-Fi challenges

Some 90% of people move between electronic connected devices to accomplish a goal and it is this device proliferation combined with increased network activity that can put pressure on the quality of your guests' connectivity, especially if you are running on an outdated network.

The moment your guest checks in they expect to be logged in and working at top speed - just as they would at home or in their office.

So how can you provide high-speed Wi-Fi that maximises uptime, reduces guest complaints and boosts revenues?

Richard Robinson, Chief Executive of Acentic, comments: "The challenge is how to support this explosion in demand for fast connectivity and offset the costs through new revenue-generating opportunities.

"Acentic has just launched Radiant 4, a brand new HSIA solution, which can address all of your Wi-Fi problems.

"Radiant 4 is designed specifically for hoteliers, offering an outstanding new solution and great user experience to the connectivity challenges faced by hoteliers today."

Mark Teasdale, CTO of Acentic, adds: "Radiant 4 is more than an evolution. It's a genuine step change built from the ground up and incorporates well over a decade of HSIA system software development, technology experience and service delivery. It is uniquely designed to cater for the extreme changes in the user behavioural landscape that have challenged the market over the last few years."

How does Radiant 4 work?

"You can choose from Radiant 4 basic, or an enhanced module, each offering different levels of functionality," explains Teasdale.

"A conference management facility is also available as an optional extra for both. Radiant 4 starts from £4 per room per month and also offers free, comprehensive product training, plus free software updates and upgrades during the lifetime of a contract*.

"Software design best practice ensures that the installed network can be managed flexibly and monitored easily. Radiant 4 enables conferencing, public area and in-room requirements to be managed by the hotel to optimise bandwidth per account and/ or client, and maximise revenue opportunities."

Can Acentic help me review my Wi-Fi first?

Teasdale continues: "We start with a comprehensive site survey, which defines the physical layout of a site and the likely hardware
requirements, as well as the Wi-Fi challenges and business requirements. Training, account management and 24/7 multilingual, UK-based, support come as standard, with guaranteed system up time and response times to act on any queries.

"The Radiant 4 platform is installed locally at the hotel and links to our Acentic Cloud Service, allowing you to get a tailor-made overview of the performance, either at one hotel or at a group of hotels."
