Jamie Oliver teams up with Blur's Alex James for food and music festival
Jamie Oliver has teamed up with Blur bassist-turned-cheesemaker Alex James to host a food and music festival next month.
The Big Feastival will feature a number of demonstrations by Oliver and chefs including Simon Rogan, Jonray and Peter Sanchez-Iglesias in the Big Kitchen, provided by its sponsor Electrolux.
Visitors will have the chance to join in with cake baking and decorating on board the Electrolux Mobile Academy, and gain top tips from professional chefs at the Chef's Table.
Graham Bremer, head of marketing Electrolux group UK & Ireland, said: "By having high-profile, well-respected, professional chefs using our equipment, we are able to reinforce the message that the Inspiration Range has been inspired by 90 years of Electrolux professional expertise."
Paloma Faith, Texas and Razorlight are among the headline music acts that will take to the stage at the two-day event on 1 and 2 September.
This year the festival has moved from Clapham Common to take place at Alex James' farm in Chipping Norton.
James' farm was host to the Harvest Festival last year, attended by David Cameron and featuring Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and KT Tunstall on the bill, but the event's organisers, Big Wheel, went bust, leaving 200 people a total of £1m out of pocket.
