Jason Atherton among new Fellows to the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts

Jason Atherton has been named among the new intake of Fellows to the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts.

The chef-restaurateur was inducted alongside Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons executive head chef Gary Jones, Lucknam Park executive chef Hywel Jones and pastry chef consultant Sarah Hartnett.

The four chefs were recognised for their significant contribution to the academy and its activities.

They have either been involved with the Adopt a School programme, its apprenticeship scheme or its awards.

The investitures not only recognise the dedication of the chosen academicians, but also remember and acknowledge the importance of previous fellows whose chairs they take.
