Jason Atherton partners with event caterer Food Show
Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton has partnered with event caterer Food Show.
The chef-proprietor of London's Pollen Street Social will work alongside Max Uyanik, Food Show's director of food, to develop a new range of menus.
The new partnership is the result of a shared ethos to food and fine dining. Food Show chief executive Andrew Gosling explained: "Both Food Show and Jason are focused on quality, provenance and superior service, but the real affinity comes from our approach to fine-dining experiences, an understated manner and an honest thirst to create excellent modern menus.
"We are fun, informal and customer friendly. This partnership is an exploration and an extension of the egalitarian ethos of Food Show, and as a contemporary event caterer I think this is where we stand out."
Atherton added: "Partnering with Food Show will enable me to create innovative food design for a new type of client in the catering and event space. My own reputation for serving modern British food with Asian nuances has a major emphasis on seasonal produce and regional specialities and it this approach that I share with Food Show - a love for fresh, seasonal produce and flexible high-end dining which is paramount to the collaboration."
Food Show was formed 22 years ago and remains a private company.
