Jason Atherton signs new five-year Compass contract
Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton has signed a new five-year partnership deal with caterer Compass Group.
The new contract will see Atherton work more with the wider Compass business as well as the company's executive dining brand Restaurant Associates where he has been consultant chef since 2010.
In the past five years, Atherton has taken part in guest appearances, VIP client dinners, charity events, demonstrations, talks and presentations to the team of chefs. In May 2014, he teamed up with Restaurant Associates to open City Social on the 24th floor of Tower 42, which received a Michelin star within six months of opening.
Going forward, the 2012 Cateys Chef award winner is expected to work more closely with Keith Prowse, which is part of the sports, leisure and hospitality business, Levy Restaurants.
