Jason Leek to head up merged Eurest Services and Restaurant Associates at Compass

Compass Group has announced the creation of a new role combining its Eurest Services and Restaurant Associates businesses.

Jason Leek, currently managing director of Restaurant Associates, will assume the additional responsibility of managing director of Eurest Services from 1 October.

Graham Sims, the current managing director at Eurest will work with Leek to handover the reins before leaving the Compass Group in the next few weeks.

Ian El-Mokadem, Compass UK managing director, commented: "As the marketplace evolves, we need to give our clients greater choice and flexibility.

He added the merging of roles was to ensure that the businesses "continue to innovate and develop their services to reflect their distinct offers to clients in their individual markets."
