Knorr's concentrated places raises more than £1,300 for Hospitality Action
Simply by uploading pictures of themselves hiding in concentrated places, chefs and caterers from across the country have raised more than £1,300 for Hospitality Action, the benevolent charity for the UK hospitality industry.
Knorr donated £18.85 for every photo uploaded on to Caterer and Hotelkeeper‘s communty site, Table Talk, to commemorate more than 125 years of innovation. The £1,319 donation to Hospitality Action will go towards helping current and past hospitality employees suffering from tragedy, ill health or personal hardship, to improve their personal circumstances.
Sarah Branagan, category manager for sauces at Unilever Food Solutions, said: "We're delighted that the industry got behind our exciting Knorr Create More Concentrated Places initiative, including Glynn Purnell (pictured), Simon Hulstone, Jack Stein and Frederick Forster. Every photo mattered and we're proud to donate this money to transform the lives of those in the industry needing our help."
Penny Moore, CEO of Hospitality Action, said: "I'd like to say a huge thank you to Unilever Food Solutions for this donation. This fun initiative made it easy for the industry to raise money and change people's lives for the better."
