Kudos recognises outstanding personnel in its first ever employee awards

The Crown Group‘s food and venue management arm Kudos has recognised its outstanding personnel in its first ever employee awards ceremony.

More than 120 staff from venues across the UK gathered at Gibson Hall this week for an awards ceremony that saw employees from 15 venues compete for prizes in eight categories.

The big winners were Central Hall Westminster, the Brighton Centre and Bournemouth International Centre, taking home two awards each.

Kudos managing director Jon Pryce presented the winners - made up of individuals and venue teams - with cash prizes, trophies and Champagne following a dinner prepared by Kudos director of food and former TV chef Frank Bordoni.

Pryce said: "We really wanted our first awards ceremony to appropriately celebrate the efforts of our staff over the course of the last year and to treat them to a first class meal prepared by one of the best chefs in the business.

"We are delighted with how the evening went and our staff are already talking about next year's event."

Full list of winners:

Venue of the year - Goldsmiths' Hall

General manager of the year - Ian Featherstone, Brighton Centre

MD's award - Alex Robertson, Bournemouth International Centre
