Kudos wins £15m contract with London Luton Airport
Caterer Kudos has won a seven-year contract with London Luton Airport (LLA) worth an estimated £15m.
The contract will see the firm provide a hotel style lobby bar within the main terminal offering passengers a relaxing dining environment. The project is expected to be completed within 12 months.
Jon Pryce, managing partner at Kudos, said: ""We are incredibly proud to have been chosen by LLA and to be a part of one of the biggest and busiest airports in the UK. Opening our lobby bar concept gives us another opportunity to demonstrate the wealth of culinary expertise Kudos has to offer.
"We have over 35 years of experience within the catering and hospitality industries and every concept we create is tailored to fit the venue's demographics and is unique to them. This win is a real credit to the team and we're really excited to be working with LLA and building something special."
Rupert Lawrie, commercial director LLA, added: "The contract award to Kudos at London Luton is the first of many exciting announcements in retail and catering as the airport transformation takes shape.
"We are one step closer to delivering our vision of a world class offer for our growing passenger base and are delighted to be working with the Kudos team on creating a unique lobby style bar with the added benefit of an al fresco terrace."
