Levy Restaurants scores five-year Aston Villa catering contract
Levy Restaurants UK has put a five-year catering deal with Aston Villa Football Club in the back of the net.
The agreement sees Levy Restaurants, part of Compass Group UK and Ireland, sign on with the Championship club to deliver match day hospitality and entertaining, as well as helping to market and deliver non-match day conferences and events.
New retail concepts, as well as innovations across the premium seat offering to the stadium are expected.
The contract also includes catering at Bodymoor Heath, home to Aston Villa FC training ground. Levy Restaurants UK will devise a range of catering options that draw on regional and seasonal produce and suppliers.
As well as hosting football matches, the 42,000-seater stadium stages non-match day events, such as music concerts hosting the likes of Bruce Springsteen and Take That. It can also host up to 700 conference delegates.
Colin Bailey, managing director at Levy Restaurants UK, said: "We are delighted to be working with Aston Villa FC, a club with a storied and incredibly successful history. We aim to mirror the passion and pride that the Holte End is renowned for, with our catering, while taking the hospitality offering to another level. We've had great success with headline stadia in the UK and are looking forward to developing Villa Park's food and drink reputation as one of the foremost places to entertain and do business."
