Lindley Catering lands £20m deal at Echo Arena Liverpool

Heathcotes Outside, part of Lindley Catering, has won the battle for a £20m catering contract at Liverpool's Echo Arena.

The five-year deal covers all catering at the arena, which features a 10,600-seat entertainment arena, a 1,350-seat auditorium, conference facilities and 18 breakout rooms and will be operated under the Heathcotes brand.

Bob Prattey, chief executive of Echo Arena Liverpool, highlighted the crucial role that catering could play in the rising reputation of the venue and in the regeneration across Liverpool.

"No matter how good the experience we always remember the food," he said. "It is essential we get our offering right and that sets us apart in an ever more competitive market."

Heathcotes already holds the contract for corporate, executive, conference and banquet catering at Anfield, the home of Liverpool Football Club.
