Lindley Group scoops another racecourse win

Sports stadia caterer Lindley Group has been awarded the contract to provide all catering services at the new Ffos Las racecourse in Carmarthenshire, which opened in June.

The eight-year contract is worth £5m and when the stadium is at full capacity Lindley will be catering for up to 10,000 race-goers.

Ffos Las is one of 10 racecourses operated by the Northern Racing Group and the fourth in the group to appoint Lindley to manage its catering, alongside Hereford, Bath and Great Yarmouth.

Part of Lindley's remit is to develop conference and banqueting business at Ffos Las.
Catering facilities at the site include: the 150-seat Bridles Restaurant; a VIP hospitality marquee for up to 450 guests; eight interlinked executive boxes that open up to cater for up to 100 people; outdoor catering units; plus public bars and cafés.

Paul Biffen, Lindley Group's sales and marketing director, said: "In addition to providing catering for both national hunt and flat race meetings, we'll also be using our catering and marketing skills to establish Ffos Las as a premier destination for businesses, conference and exhibition organizers, and private parties."
