Lindley Venue Catering wins five more years at Derby County's Starbucks outlet
Lindley Venue Catering will continue running the Starbucks outlet at Pride Park, Derby County FC's ground, after its multimillion-pound contract was extended for five years.
The specialist sports stadia catering division of the Lindley Group announced the contract extension alongside plans to expand the operation. The back of the outlet will be opened up as a "business lounge" for informal business meetings, while outside more fixed seating is planned.
Lindley Catering and Derby County FC have also introduced an incentive/loyalty scheme for season ticket holders.
Adam Elliott, Lindley Group's chief executive, said: "The collaboration between Derby County Football Club, Starbucks and Lindley broke new ground in 2007 as the Starbucks store at Pride Park and it has proved to be a tremendous success for all parties involved.
"We are naturally delighted to have the opportunity to continue working with Starbucks and the club to expand and enhance the facilities even further.
The caterer has been running the Starbucks since it opened in October 2007. The contract will now run until 2017.
