London borough of Waltham Forest, Provision of catering services

London borough of Waltham Forest seeks expressions of interest from suitably experienced and capable catering service providers for the provision of a Servery/Function Catering service for meetings/functions at the Town Hall Site and several locations within the Borough. This includes beverages, light buffets and some hot meals for daytime and evening meetings.

The Council's spend on catering in the last financial year was approximately £280,000.

The successful Tenderer will be awarded a 3-year Contract (commencing 1st April 2011) with scope to extend for a further 1 year, subject to satisfactory performance and agreement by both parties.

The Council does not supply a kitchen facility for the cooking of food.

Subject to the terms of the Tender, a servery is available within the Town Hall buildings for the holding and preparation of hot/cold foods. Other satellite locations do not have this facility.

Upon receipt of Tender submissions, Tenderers will be invited to visit the Town Hall to view available facilities.
