London events venue the Brewery to become members' club during Olympics

London events venue the Brewery will be transformed into an upscale members' club called the Retreat for almost the entire duration of the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Designed to provide a place to network and entertain while viewing the Olympic action, the Retreat will be available for use from 27 July to 12 August.

Made up of distinct hospitality areas, it aims to meet a variety of needs and tastes. It will include a manicured park with a signature Champagne bar; the Country Club; and the Club featuring a number of live acts and DJs.

A purpose-built cinema screening British classics along with the games, and the Backstage area offering members the chance to pamper and rejuvenate, will also be available.

Membership is fully transferable to allow a different authorised person to gain access to the club each day, and also includes unrestricted Wi-Fi.
