City caterer the London Kitchen has announced a new collaboration with former Iron Chef UK winner Franck Pontais.

The London Kitchen, which has catered for high-profile events by big names such as Lady Gaga, has appointed Pontais as executive head chef.

Commenting on the affiliation, managing director Damian Clarkson said: "Franck's enthusiasm for the industry in which he works mirrors the London Kitchen's perfectly, and his talent for creating new dishes and developing others make this a really exciting collaboration."

Pontais was the winner of the 2010 Iron Chef UK competition.
