Lusso names new operations director

He has joined the company as managing director Paul Hurren seeks to restructure the team, and will take responsibility for managing all Lusso sites, as well as further growing the business. His immediate team includes three operations managers, two group managers, a site manager, and a project manager.

Symonds previously worked on the British Airways, Siemens and Bank of Scotland accounts at BaxterStorey, and before that in the business development and operations department for London-based clients of Lexington Catering.

Commenting on his new role, Symonds said: "I have been really impressed with the brand and the people in the front line of our business. There is so much passion from the teams to provide great food and service."

Hurren added: "[Symonds] joins at a very exciting time. We are going through a dynamic period of change as we continue to put our customers first in everything we do, and also go for growth. Joining now gives him the opportunity to help shape the future of the business."

One of seven businesses within parent company CH&Co, Lusso specialises in corporate fine dining for companies across the media, law, accountancy, insurance and banking sectors, in London and other UK cities.
