Masterchef starts the search for the next Gordon Ramsay

BBC Masterchef is looking for working chefs to find the UK's next three Michelin-star holder.

The BBC2 programme's makers, Shine Television, want to hear from chefs at all levels with drive, passion and plenty of creativity who dream of becoming the next Gordon Ramsay or Heston Blumenthal.

Masterchef Professionals is a new programme centered on professional, rather than amateur, chefs. It will be similar in format to the existing Masterchef and its makers claim it will be a perfect showcase for those with ambitions for greatness.
