Medirest wins £16.5m contract with Blackpool Teaching Hospitals
Medirest, Compass Group's healthcare division, has secured a five-year contract with Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, worth £16.5m in total turnover.
The contract will see Medirest provide cleaning services to Blackpool Victoria Hospital, working with 200 on-site employees, from April this year.
Steve Cenci, managing director, healthcare at Compass Group UK & Ireland said: "It's exciting to be given the opportunity to provide our services at the hospital and we're looking forward to delivering the highest-quality cleaning and building a strong relationship with Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust."
