Medium-duty microwave from AWI

Rapid-service caterers are the key target of the new AWI 180T professional microwave from AWI, which is claimed to offer all the features of ovens twice its price. The stackable twin-magnetron, medium-duty oven offers an 1,800W output, a 23-litre stainless-steel cavity, toughened glass internal door screen and ceramic glass oven base. Other benefits include variable power settings, including variable defrost, 10 preprogrammed cooking sequences and an easy-clean air filter mechanism. The oven measures 335mm high x 510mm wide x 415mm deep and carries a list price of about £579 before VAT and delivery.
