Michel Roux Jr extends contract with Restaurant Associates

Michel Roux Jr has extended his contract with Compass Group's fine dining brand Restaurant Associates for another year.

It comes weeks after father Albert Roux put pen to paper to extend his relationship with the caterer into its third decade.

For the past year Michel Roux has worked with Restaurant Associates on developing new concepts for its menus. He has also hosted a number of masterclasses and supported chef development through his role.

Roux Jr said: "My role is to provide chefs with inspiration, and I've found their passion and enthusiasm a real pleasure to work with."

As part of his role, Roux Jr will judge the annual Roger Naylor Hospitality Skills competition held in April.
