Missing chef Jonny Rothfield found

Jonny Rothfield, the Restaurant Associates chef who went missing on Monday, has been safely found.

His girlfriend, Emma Alter, launched an emotional appeal over his whereabouts on her Facebook page after he was last seen leaving his home in East London at around 5am on Monday morning.

The search for Rothfield, who is a senior sous chef at the caterer's KPMG contract at Canary Wharf, quickly went viral with support pouring in across social media.

Alter updated her Facebook page last night to announce that Rothfield has been found and is safe and offer thanks for all the kind words she has received in recent days.

Rothfield went missing without his phone or house keys, which Alter described as completely out of character.

It is not yet known where he was.
