Mitie signs £775m services contract with Lloyds
Mitie has signed a record £775m bundled services contract with Lloyds Banking Group.
The five-year deal, with a possible one-year extension period, is worth around £155m a year and is reckoned to be one of the UK's biggest private client facilities management deals.
Mitie will deliver a range of services across the bank's entire UK branch and office estate, including catering and reception, as well as a number of soft and hard facilities management services.
Ruby McGregor-Smith CBE, Mitie Group chief executive, said the partnership would deliver a new style of facilities outsourcing in the UK.
"It will be one of the biggest private sector facilities management contracts of its type and is a great example of two organisations working collaboratively," he explained.
"We are very excited to be building on our long relationship with Lloyds Banking Group and to be providing them with world-class outsourced and energy services in the coming years."
