M&J Seafood lauches ‘tally' initiative
M&J Seafood has launched a personalised "Tally" initiative allowing customers to trace their catch back to the very fishmonger who prepared it, guaranteeing outstanding local service.
The scheme echoes what happens in fish markets around the UK, where buyers use a slip of branded paper to secure the fish they buy.
Each of M&J Seafood's 97 fishmongers, operating from its network of 12 branches located around the UK, has a personalised tally with their name on it, this is placed inside the box of every order they prepare.
M&J Seafood sources and supplies their catch from well-managed and sustainable fisheries, sourcing products within UK and international regulatory guidelines, while maintaining a commitment to actively promoting greater variety and under-utilised species.
Martin Bott, chief executive officer, M&J Seafood, said: "As a company we are incredibly proud of both our fish and the fact we have the best fishmongers in the country working for us. Each of our trained fishmongers is also proud to now be able to put their name to each order as they share our passion for top quality fish and expert, personal service."
