Multitasking unit from Imperial
The new multi-purpose Heat-Max Heated Wells from Imperial Catering's Hatco brand is a food warmer, soup kettle, bain-marie, steamer and pasta cooker in one unit.
Because it can boil, steam, warm and hold food at safe serving temperatures, it reduces the risk of burns and scalds, as there is no need to transfer cooked food. Made from insulated stainless steel, the wells feature three temperature settings from 50°C to 100°C, and an energy-saving mode for off-peak times. They come as single or dual 10-litre (11-quart) models in both free-standing and built-in formats with four accessories - soup kettle, sauce and food warmer, steamer plate and pasta cooker. The wells measure 375mm wide x 575mm deep, with heights of 230mm and 265mm.
