Over the years I have been collecting ceramics as well as making my own. The relationship between Japanese cuisine and pottery is more than just its function - it is all part of the dining experience and the chefs' artistic sense is reflected in his choice of tableware. The potteries I have collected and made are no longer just utensils for me but also precious memories of my time cooking all over the world.
