Natural History Museum Ice Rink – Public Catering Concession
Expressions of interest are invited for the provision of onsite catering and hospitality services at the Natural History Museum Ice Rink.
Now in its 8th year of operation, the Natural History Museum Ice Rink is one of Britain's best recognised and most popular winter events, beginning in early November and running for 9 weeks until early January. Last year, nearly 120,000 skaters enjoyed the spectacular setting in front of the Natural History Museum's Waterhouse Building in Central London.
The Ice Rink Cafe Bar, housed on the first floor of a temporary structure overlooking the site, provides hot, cold, and alcoholic food and refreshments to visitors as well as hosting children's birthday parties, office parties and exclusive corporate events.
IMG UK Ltd are engaged to manage the Ice Rink event on behalf of the Natural History Museum, and are currently inviting expressions of interest from parties looking to operate the Ice Rink Cafe Bar from November 2013 onwards, for a contract period of two years.
Organisations wishing to express an interest should contact daniel.noake@imgworld.com to obtain further information and a Pre Qualification Questionnaire. Viewing of the temporary site is highly recommended by the organiser prior to submission of information.
The closing date for expressions of interest is Monday 7th January 2013, with the closing date for submission of the pre qualification questionnaire on 11th February 2013. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to submit a full tender and attend a presentation & interview.
