NEC Group managing director to leave the business

Sally Davis, managing director of The NEC Group's catering division, is to leave the business after more than 20 years.

She is leaving to pursue new challenges and spend time with her family, said chief executive Paul Thandi in a statement.

Commercial director Alyson Cawley will step up to the role of interim managing director from 1 April to ensure a smooth transition.

Davis joined the NEC Group in 1990 as food and beverage manager for the ICC, before being made group operations manager in 1998. She was appointed managing director of NEC Group Catering in 2006 and joined the executive board a year later. Her last day will be 4 April.

Thandi added: "We wish Sally all the best and would like to sincerely thank her for the commitment and dedication she has shown the business during her 20 year career with us."
