Nelson Williams leaves Searcy to run Elior's concession business
Nelson Williams, the former operations director of Searcy of London, has been appointed managing director of contract caterer Elior's concessions business.
Williams fills the position made vacant by Adam Elliott after he left to join stadia caterer Lindley Group as its chief executive.
Williams, who was at Searcy for more than nine years, has also worked at Moving Venue Caterers and Payne & Gunter, where he was in charge of contracts such as the Henley Royal Regatta, Goodwood and Twickenham.
Elior chief executive Mike Audis welcomed Williams to the business, and said his brief was to maintain and grow existing client relationships, enhance the retail side of the business and to develop new business in the heritage and stadia sectors.
Williams said it was the calibre of staff that attracted him to Elior. He added: "It's the team that makes the difference between a good company and a really great company. The people at Elior are full of enthusiasm and ideas and are very focused on their goal of delivering the very best for clients and customers."
