New Barbican Cinema Café Catering Contract Available

In September 2012 two new cinema auditoria situated on the corner of Beech Street and Whitecross Street with on-street presence will join the highly regarded Cinema One to deliver a world-class programme of specialist, international cinema, live events and quality new releases across all three screens. This is the first new venue since the Barbican Centre opened in 1982 with exteriors designed by Allford Hall Monaghan Morris Architects.

We're looking for a dynamic, forward thinking and innovative company, suitably qualified, experienced and resourced to provide a contemporary café with evening bar and cinema retail providing us with an integrated hospitality and cultural experience under one roof.

The contract is for 3 years with an estimated sales turnover value of £1.5M. Joint ventures may also be considered.

Tenderers will be selected on the basis of experience, financial standing, and proven track record in the operation of successful coffee led operations and quality of management for the Barbican Centre. Full timetable and details will be provided with the tender.
