Ninth annual Hotel and Catering Challenge Cup launches

CCF Festivals has announced the launch of its annual sports tournament for the hospitality industry which benefits the Institute of Hospitality's Benevolent fund.

The Hotel and Catering Challenge Cup (HACCC), supported by The Caterer, PJ Search & Selection and the Institute of Hospitality, takes place in London on September 10 2017.

This year sees the introduction of a netball tournament in addition to children's activities and catering.

The tournament is the brainchild of Paul Gilley, who has refined the competition over the last few years to create an event held in great affection, particularly by the larger London Hotels some of whom are able to offer up multiple teams.

Of the event Gilley said: "HACCC now in its 9th year has been fantastic fun! From year one, jumpers for goal posts and scores on a whiteboard to this year 80 teams playing football, a dozen teams playing netball, live music, beer tents, bouncy castles, cheerleaders and a trophy bigger than the FA Cup! If you have ever wondered what 3,000 people from our wonderful industry looks like, come down and see for yourself!"

Teams of both men and women up to 15 people in total can register now at www.ccfestivals.co.uk
