Expressions of interest are invited from suitably qualified and experienced catering contractors to be included on a select list of contractors who will be invited to tender to provide catering, hospitality and vending services to North Yorkshire County Council at County Hall, Northallerton.

The proposed service will be for a period of five years, from April 1st 2009, with the opportunity to extend by a further period of two years.NYCC ‘s preferred method of tendering is now the electronic SCMS Regional portal which can be accessed via the link http://scms.alito.co.uk.

You will need to go to this link where you can register if you have not previously done so, access the tender, download and resubmit any required documentation. This tender is shown on SCMS as NYCC/FCS/8427.You will need to register and download against this tender.

The pre-qualifying questionnaire must be returned by 12 noon on 30th September 2008 via SCMS or, if you are going to use hardcopy, to the address shown above. Contractors should also be aware that the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 and the Acquired Rights Directive 77/187 may apply to the contract.
