Olive Catering appoints learning and development manager

Olive Catering Services has announced the appointment of Jo Cowan as the company's first learning and development manager.

Cowan joins the business with more than 25 years' experience in hospitality and foodservice, including spells at Centerplate (formerly the Lindley Group) and OCS Group.

She is tasked with implementing an e-learning system and a mentoring structure within the company, as it looks to maintain its Investors in People accreditation. Cowan will also be expected to deliver training workshops to reflect the needs of Olive and its team members.

Commenting on her move to the caterer, Cowan said: "I'm extremely excited to be joining such a fast-growing business, and to be delivering training that will support the development of both individuals and the business as a whole."

Sally-Ann Bradley, Olive co-founder, added: "We're delighted to have Jo join us. Her expertise and enthusiasm will be a real asset to Olive, and we look forward to building on our success with Jo on board."
