Open Minds survey – a mental health check for hospitality
As part of a forthcoming Open Minds campaign to raise awareness of the extent of mental health problems experienced by hospitality employees, Caterer and Hotelkeeper is launching a survey.
It is hoped that the results of the survey will highlight how widespread mental health issues are within hospitality and ascertain how much the working environment contributes to problems.
The four-week campaign, which is backed by the UK's leading mental health charity, Mind, will be launched in the 8 June issue of Caterer and Hotelkeeper with an in-depth look at the impact that poor mental health can have on a person's life. In future issues we shall be talking to a high-profile chef about his battle with depression and providing practical help and advice for both employees and employers on how to deal with mental health issues within the workplace.
The results of the survey will appear in the 29 June issue, alongside a feature highlighting some of the companies which are regarded as beacons in their support of employees with mental health problems.
We would be grateful if you could spend a few minutes of your time to answer the questions in the Open Minds survey. Fill out the form below.
